At T shirt Printing Toronto we have a wide variety of garment printing methods to suit any budget or style. Check out one of the printing methods below for more information.

SCREEN PRINTING

For more information on the screen printing process check out our what is screen printing blog post.

Screen printing is one of the best all around printing options especially for larger orders and designs. Screen printed t shirts are easily washable and the print quality lasts for a long time.

When screen printing a design with multiple colors, each color is applied to the t shirt or garment individually which takes more time to print a shirt with multiple colors and also ends up using more ink which leads to a price increase for additional colors.

Screen printed apparel is one of the highest quality, long lasting products you can offer your clients, staff or target audience. We can print up to 10 colors and offer a 4 color process that many other companies do not offer in the Toronto area. We can screen print on a variety of imprintable items such as t shirts, hoodies, sweaters, head wear, golf shirts, workwear, sportswear, bandanas, uniforms & more. Our garments come in a wide variety of colors, sizes and fabrics and unlike other companies we don’t charge for different color garments or size changes. Pros Pros – Great for larger orders of t shirts, high quality, long-lasting print.

Pros – Above average set-up cost on smaller orders, particularly if there are a lot of colors in the design.

DIRECT TO GARMENT

For more information on the direct to garment printing process check out our What is DTG blog post

Direct to garment printing or DTG for short is one of the newer printing processes in the garment printing industry. It works much the same as your home printer does with a few huge differences the main one being it prints onto garments instead of paper and the second being the printer itself costs thousands of dollars to purchase.

One of the main things DTG offers that traditional methods don’t is that it produces much higher resolution images and allows you to print directly from a picture from your computer. It can print an unlimited amount of colors and is not to be confused with low quality iron on/heat transfers that will fade after just a few washes. Direct to garment printing is heat treated after coming off the printer to seal the ink into the garment which gives you a long lasting, durable garment that won’t fade if cleaned properly.

Pros – Great for smaller orders of t shirts, Great for designs with lots of colors, no setup fees.

Cons – Not cost effective for large orders.

EMBROIDERY

For more information on Embroidery check out our what is embroidery blog post

Embroidery is best suited for smaller logos or designs as pricing is based on stitch count so the bigger the design the more costly. It’s classic, high quality look is a must for business or promotional clothing.

Embroidery is ideal for polo or golf shirts, hoodies, crew necks, company uniforms, head wear, jackets and heavier quality t shirts.

How we embroider your logo onto your clothing

When we receive your logo or design the first step is to digitize your artwork – digitizing is a process that converts your design into a format that allows our embroidery software to read it and replicate your design on he garment of your choice.

Pros – Prestigious high quality look, great for smaller design, low set up costs.

Cons – Can be expensive for larger designs.

VINYL

For more information on vinyl printing check out our What is Vinyl blog post.

Vinyl printing otherwise known as cad cut starts off with you sending us your logos or design and from there we put it into a special design program and vectorize it for print. Once vectorized the next step is to cut it using our cad cutting machine which allows us to cut your design onto a sheet of vinyl. Once cut, we remove the unwanted vinyl that is not a part of your design and we are left with a finished vinyl design ready to press onto your garment.

We recommend vinyl for orders of up to 100 pieces that require a 1-3 color print or when you are looking for the most durable printing option. It is great for printing text, sports team uniforms names and numbers, wedding, bachelor/bachelorette parties, high visibility work wear, company logos and more.

Pros – Very durable, Great for small orders, Great for work wear, lycra, spandex, umbrellas etc.

Cons – Not good for multiple colors.
