The top 10 ways to care for your custom printed T shirts or garments
We wrote this blog because this is one of the most frequently asked questions by our customers and one that is very important to keeping your custom t shirt or garment looking it’s best and standing the test of time. There are many ways you can wash a garment but this is a list of the most effective methods that we have come up with over the years.

- Always read manufacturers label for instructions on washing your garment.
- Always turn your garment inside out when washing it so the print is on the inside and do the same when ironing.
- Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle for the shortest period of time with gentle agitation.
- Wash with like colors and fabrics to avoid bleeding of colors.
- When washing garment for the first time wash by itself.
- Do not use bleach or laundry detergents that contain bleach. Use the gentlest detergents available.
- Do not dry clean.
- Never wring out your garments, doing this may damage the printed area.
- If you need to iron the shirt, please do so inside out and don’t iron over the printed area. If your iron has a cool option it is best to use that.
- Dry at the lowest heat and if possible leave garment to hang dry.
Following these simple tips will help preserve the life of the actual garment as well as the print.
